Farewell Autumn

 These beautiful autumn leaves from two flowering cherry trees will now become beautiful compost. Compost is indeed beautiful when you make it yourself, it's putting back into the garden.

The start of camellia season.

Two beautiful camellias, the bushes were transplanted from, Phyllis's garden just before moving to Mannum. The tassels are Garrya elliptica a plant from my childhood., 

 

Vegetarian Strudel

Tonight's dinner got the thumbs up from even Rod. Vegetarian doesn't normally satisfy him but this was successful. Savoy cabbage, sweet potato, corn, onion, garlic and cheese wrapped in Filo pastry. Served with home made, home grown tomato relish. Top marks to Aly for suggesting the combination.

Final Steps

Last week hand rails were all the go. I finished painting the rails on the steps to the studio.

And Rod fitted the continuos LED strip lighting to the underside of the rails on the deck steps.
